This new habit can help the YOU and the community.

Recycle aluminum cans:
Take a walk to lose weight and pick up litter along the way and then go get your $money $:

About 32 cans (give or take a few cans) equals a pound.  Salvage companies will pay you on average 70 cents a pound. Every time you see a can think of it as $.02 found.   Do the math!

Reduce trash in the landfill:
Okay, so you can't travel, but your book can.  Instead of tossing that book into the trash leave a book anywhere and watch it travel. Check out
http://www.bookcrossing.com.

Re-use furniture:
Feeling a little creative?  Go to a paint supply store and see amazing products to transform that old dresser you thought about trashing.
